State logs one fresh case

Imphal, November 10 2022:
Number of active cases of Covid-19 in the state rose to 11 on Thursday with government bulletins reporting no new recovery and one new positive case from out of 91 samples tested in the last 24 hours with 1.1 per cent positivity rate.
The lone fresh case is a male resident of Kakching district.
Out of the 11 active cases, six are in home isolation.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,898 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 403 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,47,792, out of which 13,34,796 have received the second dose and 2,75,750 taken precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49841), Imphal East (32063), Thoubal (10298), Churachandpur (11291), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9986), Senapati (2547), Ukhrul (3370), Kakching (6981), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1057), and Pherzawl (477) .
Fatality counts in different districts are Imphal West (712), Imphal East (517), Thoubal (192), Churachandpur (169), Kangpokpi (70), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (206), Senapati (13), Ukhrul (52), Kakching (124), Chandel (43), Noney (5), Tengnoupal (17), Jiribam (7), Kamjong (5), and Pherzawl (0) .
