Covid-19: Two infected, seven recover

Imphal, November 18 2022:
Number of active cases of Covid-19 in the state came down to 7 on Friday, as government bulletins reported five recoveries and two new positive cases, from out of 93 samples tested in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 2.2 per cent.
Both the two fresh cases (1 male & 1 female) are residents of Imphal West district.
Out of the seven active cases, four are in home isolation.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,906 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 355 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,48,105, out of which 13,35,530 had received the second doses and 2,77,295 precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49844), Imphal East (32065), Thoubal (10298), Churachandpur (11292), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9986), Senapati (2548), Ukhrul (3371), Kakching (6981), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1057), and Pherzawl (477) .
