Awareness programmes held at various places

Chd/Tpl/Tbl, January 15 2023: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Chandel under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority organised 2-days legal awareness programme on "Accessing Courts and legal remedies/ Procedures for filing complaints in police station/Public Relationship" at IB Guest House, Moreh Police Complex and Moreh Court Complex today.

It was attended by District & Sessions Judge Imphal West, A Guneshwar Sharma; District & Sessions Judge Imphal East, RK Memcha Devi; MASLSA member secretary, Ojesh Mutum; MASLSA additional member secretary, Bineshwori Maibam; Judicial Magistrate First Class Moreh, Sarungbam Mangaleibi and ASP (L&O) Moreh, Oinam Sukumar.

Moreover, Real Recovery Home, De addiction Centre Thoubal also organised an awareness programme on "Hepatitis, HIV/AIDS & Drug abuse" at its Conference Hall in Thoubal Wangmataba today.

At the event, Ak Herojit, project director of Real Recovery Home stressed on the importance for Hepatitis-C positive patients to stay in the ..centre to avail proper medical care.

He also enlightened the guardians of the inmates staying at the centre about Hepatitis B/C and HIV/AIDS.

Medicines for treatment of -Hepatitis-C were also distributed to the inmates.

Similarly, Modi Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) also organised a workshop cum career counselling for students on joining Indian Armed Forces at Chandel yesterday.

The workshop was conducted in coordination with Wisecrabs Club, said a release issued by PRO of IGAR(S).

It was attended by 45 students from various schools of Chandel.

During the workshop, the students were made aware about various examinations for entry in Indian Armed Forces along with eligibility, preparation methods, requirements and schedule.
