75 Crore Surya Namaskar Project concludes

The valedictory ceremony of 75 Crore Surya Namaskar Project which has been ongoing for the last two months was conducted today at The Blossom School, Changangei along with the participation of students from various schools.
As per a statement from Pukhrambam Birpradash, secretary general, Manipur Yogasana Sports Association, the ceremony was organised by the Association in collaboration with The Blossom School.
Other schools also partook in the ceremony including RK Sanatombi Vidyalaya, Pangei and Ibotonsana Girls Higher Secondary School among others.
Today's valedictory ceremony was attended by Professor Takhellambam Inaobi Singh, (Dean of Education, HOD Physical Education Manipur University) as the chief guest; Chinglemba Sapam , Principal, The Blossom School and Lisam Jiteshwari Devi, Lecturer Ibotonsana Girls Higher Secondary School as guests of honour.
Yogasana players also demonstrated various yogasanas in both traditional and artistic forms as part of the ceremony.
The statement also added that the 75 Crore Surya Namaskar Project was jointly launched by Patanjali Yogpeeth, Heartfulness Institute, National Yogasana Sport Federation (NYSF) and many other organisations under the theme of "A tribute to Bharat Mata with Surya Namaskar" and was mass participated by yoga centres, institutes and organisations across the country.
