ADC Chairman promises positive changes

Even though the State Government is not committed enough towards development of Senapati district, Senapati Autonomous District Council is fully committed to speedy development of the district and people would definitely see some positive changes within the next few years, said Senapati ADC Chairman ML Markson.
A felicitation function in honour of the newly elected ADC Chairman was held yesterday at his native village, Laii.
Senapati ADC CEO R Rang Peter, NPF State unit working president Solomon Veino, leaders of different civil society organisations and chiefs of villages located within Laii circle were present at the felicitation function.
Speaking at the gathering, Markson exuded confidence that the new ADC can definitely bring some positive changes in the district.
Saying that Tadubi-Laii village road has deteriorated to a pathetic condition on account of prolonged negligence by the Government, Markson assured that he would urge the relevant authorities to repair and develop the same road.
"As the Chairman of Senapati, my first priorities would be improvement of transport infrastructure, health care facilities and education", he said.
CEO R Rang Peter described Chairman ML Markson as a god-fearing and secular man.
