Imphal, September 21 2026: Strongly condemning the killing of the 17 year old boy, Chief Minister Y Khemchand took to the social media and in a post said, 'Condemn the killing of Mr NK Wiphenbou, son of Mr NK Maihinlakbou of Upper Takou village, Tamei subvision by armed miscreants between Upper Takou and Tamah (Malek) today.

Such act of violence against an innocent student has no place in our society, said the Chief Minister and extended his condolences to the bereaved family members.
