Kangujam Madhumangol mourned

The Lamdaibung Social Welfare Club, Kakwa organised a condolence meeting to mourn the demise of Kangujam Madhumangol at the meeting hall of the club today.
A statement issued by Lamdaibung Social Welfare Club has shared that Kangujam Madhumangol served as the president of the Club for a long period and took the forefront in developmental works concerning the locality.
Members of Lamdaibung Social Welfare Club's executive committee, advisory committee and sub-commit-tee attended the condolence meeting and observed a 2-minute silence in honour of the deceased.
The gathering, led by Yumnam Budhichandra Mangang, president, Lamdaibung Social Welfare Club, also prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
Separately, RK Maipaksana Memorial Trust also organised a condolence meeting today to mourn the passing of Kangujam Madhumangol at the residence of Rajkumar Dilip Singh, president of the Trust, at Singjamei Mathak Chongtham Leikai, Imphal East.
The gathering observed a 2 minute silence to honour the deceased and further offered prayers for the departed soul.
RK Maipaksana Memorial Trust also shared in the grief of the bereaved family.
The statement noted that aside from serving as the editor of Prajatantra for over 25 years, as a news editor at ISTV and as the president of AMWJU, the eminent personality was also an invaluable trustee of RK Maipaksana Memorial Trust.
Lastly, United Committee Manipur have also extended their condolences upon the passing of the veteran journalist.
In a statement, UCM stated that his demise will leave behind a void for the media community as well as the entire State.
UCM members also observed a 2-minute silence in honour of the deceased.
