Result of spot painting competition declared

Imphal, January 22 2023:
The result of the spot painting competition conducted on Sunday as part of the on-going 29th Imphal Book Fair jointly organised by State Central Library' and RRRLF, Kolkata, has been declared.
In a release, State Central Library chief librarian RK Urmila informed that Nongmaithem Korounganba.
a class 5 student of Heritage Convent secured the first position in class 3 to 5 category, while N Pristina (class 4) of Lee Faith School and Summit Mutum (class 5) of UNACOO School bagged the second and the third position respectively.
In the same category, K Nongleikhomba (class 5) of UNACOO School, RK Tayalsana Singh (class 3) of Kebol High School and Rajshree Tongbram (class 5) of Sishu Nistha Niketan were presented the consolation prizes.
The Special Honourable Merit Award was presented to Th Hardit (class 1) of Ramakrishna Mission School and Th Roshita (class 2) of RK Sanatombi, the release informed.
On the other-hand, Brikarma Lourembam (class 6) of The Comprehensive School Oinam, Sunaina Saikhom (class 7) of KVS Lamphel-1 and Ningombam Priscilla (class 7) of Kendra Vidyalaya Leimakhong-3 secured the first, second and third positions respectively in the class 6 to 8 category while Angela Heikrujam (class 7) of Kendra Vidyalaya-1, Wangkheimayum Hiyaileima (class7) of Mega Manipur and Lenison Rajkumari (class 7) of Ushus School are the consolation prize winners.
Meanwhile, the chief librarian on behalf of the staffers of State Central Library conveyed condolences over the untimely demise of its employee Babu Singh.
A two minutes' silence was observed as mark of respect to the departed soul, the release added.
