He continued that the State Government should apprehend the real culprits behind the drug case and awad befitting punishment to save the youths of Manipur from the menace of drugs.
Playcards with the slogans s,uch as, "Chief Minister Should Resign", "Remove Director General of Police", "Home Minister Should be Replaced", "We Demand CBI Inquiry into Pallel Drugs Case", "No to Police Inquiry Into Police Drugs Case", etc, were used at the protest.
It may be mentioned that the sit-in ended abruptly after a team of Kaching Police arrived at the scene and informed that the protest was staged illegally without prior permission from the Deputy Commissioner.
