BJP destined to win LS polls: Biren
Source: The Sangai Express

Imphal, April 06 2024: Chief Minister N Biren has cate-gorically stated that BJP is destined to win the ensuing Lok Sabha election.

The 44th foundation of BJP was observed today at the party's Nityaipat Chu-thek office under the aegis of BJP Manipur Pradesh.

Led by N Biren and BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda, BJP workers paid floral tributes at the statues of Shyama Prasad Mukher-jee and Deendayal Upadhyay.

Six former presidents of the party were also honoured on the occasion.

Speaking at the gathering, Chief Minister N Biren stated that the Chief Minister's bungalow and the office are public offices.

"I'm surprised at those people who have been raising questions over people's visit to the Chief Minister's bungalow", Biren said.

Noting that some people have been making all kinds of illogical and ridiculous statements on social media regarding people's visit to the Chief Minister's bungalow, Biren appealed to all concerned to refrain from such ridiculous activities.

Even before the introduction of Meeyamgi Numit, thousands of people came to the Chief Minister's bungalow and the Government listened directly to the grievances and aspirations of the people, he said.

People's visit to the Chief Minister's bungalow is not restricted to the election time alone.

It would continue after the elections, he said.

Claiming that BJP is destined to win the ensuing elections, he urged BJP supporters not to be worried.

He exuded confidence that the existing strength of BJP workers is enough to win the elections.

There are lakhs and lakhs of BJP workers who are committed to protect the integrity of India and Mani- pur.

Votes given by them honestly would be enough to ensure BJP's victory, Biren said.

Th Basantakumar, BJP's candidate in Inner Manipur PC is a man who has in-depth knowledge of the current Manipur crisis.

Election of Th Basantakumar as an MP would prove to be a big help in resolving the Manipur crisis within a short time, he asserted.

The candidate being fielded by NPF in Outer Manipur PC is also a good man who does not harbour any communal feelings, he added.

The election manifesto of a particular party released on Friday at the National level has a particular point which seemingly can upset the integrity and the administrative system of Manipur, Biren said before appealing to all the people to study the particular point.

He called upon all the BJP workers to work collectively and take BJP's promise to implement NRC in the State to the grassroots level.

The rival party has not been supporting NRC rather they have been claiming that the NRC would not do anything good, he said.

If the people want NRC, they would certainly vote for BJP.

In case, they vote for the party which does not support NRC, the public demand for NRC would be reduced to a farce, he continued.

A Sharda asserted that BJP would secure landslide victory in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections and Narendra Modi would be sworn in as the country's Prime Minister for the third consecutive term.

She appealed to BJP workers of Manipur to ensure victory of BJP and NPF candidates so as to strengthen the next Modi Government.
