PCC, YPHU prevail in MNCA U-16 boys cricket

PCC and YPHU prevailed in Tuesday's matches of the 3rd MNCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Memorial Trophy.
PCC beat Blue Hawk by 2 wickets at ABA Ground.
Blue Hawk elected to bat and scored 110 for 9 in 30 overs.
In the innings, Md Asif Shah top-scored with 37, followed Spolar Moirangthem (14) and Nongdamba (12).Takhellam Vikash was the pick of PCC's bowlers, claiming 4 scalps while Laitonjam Anjan took two.
PCC achieved their target in 28.3 overs, losing 8 wickets in the process.
Mairembam led from the front with 40 as Mathu-rabashimayum Parvesh made 11 in their win.
For Blue Hawk, Spolar picked up 3 wickets and Rex Waikhom snapped one.
At Heinoupok playground, YPHU registered a 20-run triumph over SHADOW.
SHADOW, who batted first, were bowled out for 166 in 28.5 overs.
Reolin Oinam shone with the bat collecting 83 runs in the first innings.
Three of SHADOW'S wickets fell prey to Birbal Irom, two to Bishworaj Sharma and one each to Prince Kumar and Irom Sunny.
After his good bowling display, Birbal Irom led the YPHU run chase with 74 and Abdul Kaif contributed 30 to help their side achieve the target in 30 overs.
