CPI plans stir against price rise

Imphal, April 07 2022:
Communist Party of India, Manipur State Council has announced that it will launch a month-long agitation in the state in protest against the random increase of price of essential items and petroleum products.
A meeting held on Thursday at Irawat Bhawan with CPI State Council secretary L Sotinkumar and secretariat member A Lala as the joint presidium members deliberated on the series of planned demonstrations in different parts of the state to protest the arbitrary decision of the present regime to hike prices of essential commodities, fuel and LPG.
The meeting was attended by secretaries, district secretaries and state executive members from 39 local constituencies.
