Manipur beaten by AP in Nayudu Trophy

Manipur suffered an innings and 246-run defeat to Andhra Pradesh in their multi-day match in the Col Ck Nayudu Trophy on Thursday.
On the third day, AP resumed their first innings on 477/4 and declared at 604/8.SK Rasheed finished with an unbeaten 223 off 349 balls.
Then the AP bowling attack spearheaded by Tripurana Vijay made short work of Manipur's second innings that saw the state team's batting order collapse for 213 in 62.5 overs.
Kishan (52), Nitesh (30), Bidash (28), Guniram A (22), Bikash Singh (21) and Jotin Pheiroijam (18) were the run getters in Manipur's second innings.
Tripurana scalped 7 wickets as K Sudharsan, B Varshith Reddy and Satvik took one each for AP to steer their side to an emphatic victory.
Earlier, Jotin Pheiroijam picked 2 wickets as Nitesh and Alfred Hmar bagged one each for Manipur.
