Newly elected Chandel MLA SS Olish feted

Kakching, March 24 2022: Thanksgiving cum felicitation programme of Chandel AC MLA SS Olish was held at Monsang Pantha village community hall on Monday.

Four tribes settling in Chandel district, namely Monsang, Maring, Tangkhul and Khoibu felicitated the newly elected MLA with thanksgiving prayer service.

Manipur State Commission for Women chairperson in charge Th Tiningpham, MNBCA executive secretary Rev Alani Shongsir, members of central election committee, Sirti Eruwng Ruh (SER), Sirti Thiimjiitam Sourkhe (STS), Sirti Sanuw Ruh (SSR) and leaders representing Maring, Tangkhul and Khoibu tribe from Chandel district attended the programme.

Speaking at the event, MLA SS Olish extended profound gratitude to all the people for supporting her.

"I came to say thank you all for your kind support.

By the grace of God and through your support, I won the election and it is worth to thank the Lord together," she said The newly elected MLA was presented with traditional shawls, kilts and cultural artefacts belonging to various tribes.
