CCpur lass selected for MaolKeki memorial scholarship

MaolKeki Foundation has announced that Jane Chingngaihlian Seldou from Zogam Road, Vengnuam, New Lamka in Churachandpur district will be the recipient of the 2022 MaolKeki Memorial Scholarship.
The annual cash scholarship is awarded to student who demonstrates excellent academic performance, integration, and immersion into college life by participating in various extracurricular activities, but has limited financial means to support his or her education.
The selection process is managed by a committee in college and requires the student to submit a hand-written essay.
Jane, the recipient of the fourth MaolKeki Memorial Scholarship, is currently pursuing her undergraduate BA Programme with a combination of Political Science and English Literature.
She is also a member of the Photographic Society and the Northeast Society.
Jane is interested in international relations, peace studies, and literature.
She completed an internship on archival history in Lamka, funded by the British Council, District Library and Mask4India.Jane, currently studying at Soka University, Tokyo, as an exchange student for a year, is the youngest daughter of S Soichinthang, an ex-serviceman, and S Ngaineithang, a homemaker.
She completed her schooling from St Paul's Institute, New Lamka, Churachandpur, MaolKeki Foundation said in a release and wished Jane the very best in her studies and looks forward to her scaling greater heights in the future.
