Two homeless young siblings, who happened to be girls, from Kadangband Part-I of Sekmai AC, have been forced to take shelter at a local primary school.
On Sunday, a group of people extended assistance to the two siblings ahead of the Ningol Chakkouba festivities.
According to a source, of the two girls, one is studying in Class IV, while the other is studying in Class VI.
Both their parents are mentally unsound, with the mother staying at her parental home and the father putting up with the kids.
The kids are being taken care of their aunt, who is trying hard to feed the kids with whatever work she could find.
As they have lost their homestead land, the siblings along with their father and aunt have been forced to take shelter at Kadangbang Chingthak New Primary School.
The source then said that the siblings' greatest wish is to see their father become a normal person.
