RK Ranjan attends mega health camp in Navi Mumbai for breast cancer awareness month

Minister of State for External Affairs and Education RK Ranjan Singh graced a mega general health camp and cancer screening to observe breast cancer awareness month and Maharashtra Government's flagship event 'Mata Surakshit Tar Ghar Surakshit' at Sri Datta Vidya Mandir School Sector-5 Sanpada, Navi Mumbai today.
As per a press release issued by Chhabi Sahayog Foundation (CSF), the event was organised by CSF in association with the KJSP Group of Companies and The Morning Bell daily.
The event began with the customary presentation of Tulsi Saplings to all honoured guests.
It is worth noting that 500 Safai Karmacharis of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) attended the camp, the statement added.

Other dignitaries present at the event include Rahul Pathare, Chairman of CSF as president; Rajkumar Raju Singh, Vice Chairman CSF; Laimayum Basanta Sharma, Vice Chairman of CSF; Sanjeev Jaggi Patil, Director of KJSP Group of Companies; Dr Vaibhav Deogirkar, Medical Director of Hindu Sabha; Dr Vishwanath Gorgote, President Sankalp Trust, Navi Mumbai; Pandurang Vithal Aamle, President, Matari Kamgar Union Navi Mumbai; Thokchom Sumanta Meetei, social Activist from Manipur; Vinod Chinchalekar Executive Member of CSF; Sudhakar Wadje Swachchata Adhikari NMMC and others were present.
Speaking as the chief guest, RK Ranjan Singh praised the effort of CSF in its fight against cancer and thanked volunteers, healthcare professionals etc present at the mega health camp.
After felicitating prominent citizens, the chief guest inspected the health camps and breast cancer screening room.
The breast cancer examination was led by Dr Meghal Sanghavi, Senior Onco Surgeon and her team and Dr Ravindra Kamle AMO, Hindu Sabha Hospital assisted the team.
He also interacted with the health care professionals and Safai Karmacharis including female Karmacharis extensively and students of Datta Vidya Mandir along with Mahendra Patil (Headmaster of Primary section) .
RK Ranjan then rushed to Bharatiya Janata Party Janasampark Karyalaya to meet BJP Mahila Karyakartas.
The Union Minister emphasised vocal for local and small economic activities among the women to achieve Aatma Nirbharta.
The last programme was a small inauguration ceremony of a permanent cancer screening camp at New Millenium Hospital.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was the highlight of the programme.
Pandurang Vithal Aamle, Jaggi Patil along with others were present at the interactive session with the Mahila Karyakartas.
Vithal Aamle apprised the Minister of his contribution to empowering the Mahila Karyakartas.
RK Ranjan Singh addressed the gathering followed by lunch at KJSP Seasons Hotel.
CSF has also extended their gratitude to Hindu Sabha Hospital, Advance Eye Hospital, Terna Super Speciality Hospital, and Millenium Hospital for their unconditional support and contribution in making the health camp and cancer screening a grand success.
