CCpur, January 15 2023: Additional Deputy Commissioner of Saitual district, Mizoram, Margaret Marini and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Churachandpur, Manipur, S Khaikhopau Ngaihte organised an ADC Level Summit at Mizoram-Manipur border, Tuivai on Saturday.

The summit was conducted with the aim to resolve the land acquisition issue for construtting abutment A2 and pier P2 on Mizoram side at Tuivai river.

In the summit, the ADCs appealed to the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of Champhai to do necessary rectification in the Parivesh Portal of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change subsequent upon the withdrawal of petition by the Forest Department, Government of Mizoram.

Delay in the progress of the work due to small technical issues can cause major hindrance in view of the limited working season before the onset of monsoon especially for the construction of bridges.

The meeting was also attended by delegates of NHIDCL of both the States and the construction agency Bhartia Infra Projects Limited.
