State logs one fresh case

Imphal, November 28 2022:
Number of active cases of Covid-19 in the state rose to 8 on Monday, as government bulletins reported no recovery and one new case from out of 77 samples tested in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 1.3 per cent.
The lone case is a female resident of Imphal West district.
Out of the eight active cases, five are in home isolation.
As no death case was reported in the last 24 hours the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,916 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 8 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,48,451, out of which 13,36,653 had received the second dose and 2,78,736 precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49846), Imphal East (32066), Thoubal (10299), Churachandpur (11294), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9987), Senapati (2548), Ukhrul (3372), Kakching (6982), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1058), and Pherzawl (477) .
