Integrated Communication & Outreach Prog held

A one day Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme (ICOP) on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, 8 Years of Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan, Vision 2047, Development Initiatives in North East and India's G20 Presidency was organised by Central Bureau of Communication, Regional Office (CBC, RO) Imphal as a part of the 10-day Integrated Communication & Outreach Programme with photo exhibition.
In a release, CBC, Imphal programme in-charge Thokchom Anthony informed that as resource of the outreach programme GP Women's College, Imphal History assistant professor N Malemsanba Meetei pointed out that Hijam Irabot, who fought against the British in Manipur, remains an unsung hero of the India's freedom struggle.
In his address, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, North East Zone director general B Narayanan informed the audience that many events of India's G20 Presidency will be held in Manipur.
Prizes of inter-school chess competition, essay competition, painting competition, extempore speech contest and written quiz competition were distributed on the occasion.
Students of Nongpok Maheikol, Wangkhei High School, Maria Montessori, Brighter Academy, DM College of Arts, and Manipur University won the contest.
Students of GP Women's College, TG Higher Secondary School, CC Higher Secondary School also participated in the said open contest.
All participants were also provided certificate of participation.
Private Registered Troupe (PRT) of CBC, RO, Imphal namely M/s Sanchaali presented Dasavatar dance as a part of the event.
