Impulse NGO Network provides medical assistance

Continuing its humanitarian assistance, the Shillong-based Impulse NGO Network along with its Manipur partner, New Life Foundation provided medical kits for health care centres in Churachandpur district.
The equipment provided on Monday include 10 sets of surgical caps, hats and shoe covers, 10 sets of sterile gloves, five sets of surgical mask, 10 gowns for isolation level 1 and 2, 20 gowns for isolation level 3 and 4, 10 sets of N-19 mask, two IV catheters, five sets of needles and mixed gauges, 10 sets of syringe lOcc and 12cc, IV extension and Sec Tubing, 100 bed surface, walking canes and 25 sets of crutches, 10 adult size wheelchairs and 10 adult walkers.
The medical kids were handed over to Churachandpur DC Sharath Arroju in the presence of medical department officials of the district including CMO Dr Kim Simte and MS of Ccpur district hospital Dr Vanlalkungi besides others.
New Life Foundation, Moirang secretary Dr Pishak and Impulse NGO director Rosana Lyngdoh also attended the handing over function.
DC Sharath Arroju thanked and appreciated initiative of the NGO in providing medical assistance and also wished the NGO more success in their future endeavour.
The NGO will be providing the same medical assis tance to Tengnoupal and Bishnupur districts.
Programmes of Impulse NGO Network cover Manipur, Nagaland and Mizoram in terms of providing food security and medical assistance and the NGO had recently introduced agro forestry and crop plantation in all the three states.
