Imphal Literature Festival concludes

The three-day Imphal Literature Festival, which was organised as part of Manipur Sangai Festival-2022, Concluded at Mandha island in Loktak lake on Sunday.
The literature festival was opened on November 25 and more than 120 writers from different parts of the country and abroad presented their short stories and poems during an event organised as part of the festival at Marjing polo complex, Heingang.
Presentation of short stories and a poem entitled 'Sangai' by a foreign delegate namely Tenzim T Sundue of Tibet (China) added a new taste to the literature festival.
Delegates of the literature festival also visited Ethnic Park at Moirang Khunou and all of them were impressed after witnessing the traditional huts set up for 34 communities of Manipur.
Noted Sri Lankan writer and recipient of Fairway and Bondage award Aythurai Santhan, who took part in the literature festival, said that the natural beauty of Manipur and the ongoing Sangai festival inspires him to visit Manipur again.
