Zeliangrong Union lauds, appeals

The Zeliangrong Union (AMN) in a statement issued by its general secretary today lauded Chief Minister O Ibobi and Deputy CM Gaikhangam, councils of Ministers and MLAs for extending assistance to the Zeliangrong people in general and people of Tamenglong district in particular.
"In the political history of Manipur, we have seen Govts come and go but the people's problems remain the same.
But on Nov 21 history was created at Tamenglong district hospital when a baby girl was delivered successfully through Caesarean section by a team of doctors led by Gynaecologist Dr Thangjam Imochaobi Singh," it said.
The ZU also congratulated the team of doctors for their unstinting efforts to improve Tamenglong district hospital.
The ZU (AMN) also appealed to the State Government to extend possible infrastructure development projects in the district while particularly appealing to the Works Minister to repair the 39 km stretched Khongsang-Tamenglong road.
Meanwhile, ZU, Tamenglong Zone, in a separate statement also lauded the milestone achieved by the District Hospital under the leadership of notable doctors, surgeons and further urged the State Government to assist infrastructure development work in the district.
