Imphal, January 07 2024: The repairing work of Ima Kondong Lairembi shrine at Moreh has begun under the supervision of DIG (Range-II) Jogeshchandra Haobijam.

Notably, the senior police officer has been supervising the influx of illegal immigrants of Myanmar and the security measures taken up to restore normalcy at the border town.

The Ima Kondong Lairembi shrine at Moreh was vandalised by the Kukis on May 3, 2023 .

The renovation work of the site sacred to the Meiteis began yesterday by a team of Manipur police, special commandos, IRB and MR under the supervision of the DIG (Range-II) .
