The Lamkhai Lairembi Club, Wabagai has taken up the responsibility of repairing the Wabagai to Sugnu road which is under the high conflict zone since the authorities concerned have failed to address the plights of the locals due to the deplorable condition of the road.
Notably, the road repairing work started yesterday.

He highlighted that Wabagai to Sugnu road is filled with potholes and is in a dilapidated state since it has been neglected for long and has not been repaired posing great risks to the lives of the locals who are commuting along this road.
Highlighting that the road is an important route for the ambulances and other emergency vehicles for transferring the injured during the relentless attacks carried out upon the Meitei civilians, he said that the deplorable condition of the road and the numerous potholes are posing hindrance for smooth conveyance.
In view of the above, the club has been compelled to take up the road repair and pothole filling work in the larger interest of the people along this region, he said.
