Imphal, April 21 2024: Assam Rifles organised a health checkup cum medical camp at Phalbung village in Tengnoupal district on Sunday benefitting 179 villagers, including women and children.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the initiative was aimed at catering to healthcare needs of the villagers, with particular emphasis on preventive care, health education, and basic medical assistance.

Essential medicines and medical-supplies were distributed during the camp, ensuring immediate relief and support for individuals with healthcare concerns.

Furthermore, the medical camp addressed specific health challenges prevalent in the region, offering personalised guidance and assistance to attendees, informed the PRO.
