CM reviews movement of goods

Imphal, August 05 2026:
Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand today reviewed the movement of goods along the National Highways.
The Chief Minister chaired a high level meeting held today at the CM Secretariat, Babupara and it was attended by senior officials from the Home Dept, CAF& PD, Manipur Police, NHI-DCL and representatives of FMCG traders.

"The meeting deliberated on the disruptions affecting the supply chain, which have, at times, contributed to inflationary pressures and adversely impacted consumers", Khemchand wrote on social media.
"We resolved to accord the matter the highest priority and ensure close coordination among all stake-holders to facilitate the smooth movement of essential commodities, strengthen supply chain resilience and safeguard the interests of the people of Manipur", the Chief Minister added.
