Macha Leima celebrates foundation day

Imphal, April 21 2024: Manipuri Chanura Leishem Marup (Macha Leima) celebrated its 55th foundation day in a simple manner at its head office at Palace Compound on Sunday.

In a release, MACHA LEIMA informed that the celebration presided over by president W Amusana was attended by its life members, senior member, school staff, micro-finance staff and others.

A two minutes' silence was also observed as a mark of respect to the departed members of MACHA LEIMA.

Lamenting that in its 54 years of existence Manipur and its people endured numerous challenges and hardships, Macha Leima called upon all concerned to extend solidarity to one another to effectively tackle elements inimical to development and integrity of Manipur.
