38th Men's State Level Polo Tournament : Paradise PC progress into quarter, Major Karan PC reach last 16-stage

Paradise Polo Club-Wangkhei overwhelmed Ibudhou Marjing Polo Club-A-Heingang by 10-1 goals to secure a quarter final ticket in the ongoing 38th Men's State Level Polo Tournament at Mapal Kangjeibung.
K Samananda and captain N Philip scored four goals each to help Paradise PC register a comfortable win today.
Paradise PC got off to a bright start and were leading by 4-0 goals after 1st chukker with Samananda scoring twice and Ksh Santikumar and N Philip adding a goal each.
They raced to a 8-0 lead at halfway with Philip and Samananda adding two goals each as Ibudhou Marjing PC-A riders failed to find their composure.
The third chukker saw Philip tucked in his fourth goal in the 4th minute before H Sanjoy completed the scoring in the 6th minute.
The lone goal for the Heingang team came up in the same chukker with Kh Suraj scoring in the 7th minute.
The final chukker saw both teams draw nil and eventually Paradise PC walked home 10-1.In another match of the day, Major Karan Polo Club edged out Thangmeiband Polo Club by 4-3 goals to advance to the last-16 round of the tourney.
Th Kaoba scored twice for Major Karan Polo Club and O Rozer and Th Santosh added a goal each while S Saolin, Th Nongpoknganba and S Bonbon scored for the Thangmeiband team.
