Imphal, January 17 2023:
The Tumuyon Khullen Village Authority (TKVA) has appealed to CAF & PD Minister L Susindro Meitei to not include their village among the villages blacklisted for poppy plantation.
A press release issued by TKVA said that the locals of Tumuyon Khullen have been extending support to the War on Drugs campaign.
Saying that they have also submitted the report of the poppy destruction drive to the Chief Minister, the village authority continued that they will continue to cooperate with the State Government in the war against drugs to protect the forest and future generations.
