Manipur slumped to a lowly 145 in the first innings of the third and final Elite Group A encounter of the Col CK Nayudu Trophy 2021-22 at CAP Ground 3, Puducherry.
Manipur won the toss and elected to bat first but could not withstand the disciplined bowling effort being put in by the Andhra Pradesh (AP) bowlers - Tripurana Vijay (3/18) and B Varshith (3/36) and bundled out for 145 runs in 50.4 overs.
Kamajit Y hit the highest 47 off 54 balls for Manipur as Nawaz and Jotin Pheiroijam added 19 and 18 runs respectively.
Carrying forward the day, AP were 115/1 (31.4 overs) at stumps after M Ravi Kiran hit a half century (66 off 89 balls) and Harsha Vardhan provided a significant assist with an unbeaten 47 off 102 balls.
Manipur's L Kishan Singha got the breakthrough for Manipur removing Ravi Kiran in the fourth delivery of his 7th over.
