AP trail Manipur by 30 runs in Nayudu Trophy

Imphal, April 05 2022:
Manipur had dismal batting performance in their first innings against Andhra Pradesh on the first day of their multi-day match in the Col Nayudu Trophy at CAP Ground, Puducherry, on Tuesday.
The state team, who opted to bat first, crumbled for 145 in 50.4 overs in their first innings where Karnajit Y (47) turned out to be the lone bright spot.
Tripurana and B Varshith Reddy did the major damage to Manipur's batting order as the AP bowling duo took 3 wickets each, with K Sudharsan and Venu Vinukonda chipping in with a wicket apiece.
AP scored 115/1 in 31.4 overs at stumps, trailing Manipur by 30 runs.
Harshan Vardhan remained unbeaten on 47 and M Ravi Khan got dismissed for 66.Kishan took a wicket for Manipur.
