Manipur suffer 199-run loss to Himachal Pradesh

Manipur slumped to third successive loss in the Vijay Hazare Trophy going down by 199 runs today at the hands of Himachal Pradesh today at Airforce Complex ground, Palam.
Manipur won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Himachal Pradesh stacked up a total of 362 runs for the loss of four wickets as SG Arora (133 off 127 balls) and AP Kumar (120 off 97 balls) scored centuries.
Bikash Singh of Manipur emerged the pick of the bowlers today clinching three of the four wickets in his spell of 10 overs.
In reply, Manipur could add 163 runs for 8.Rex topscored in the innings scoring 36 runs followed by Priyojit K (22), Kamajit Y (21) and Kishan Singha (19).Mention may be made that Manipur incurred a huge 282 run loss to Saurashtra at Jamia Millia Islamia University Ground, Delhi in the previous match on November 13.Manipur will play Chandigarh in the next match on November 17 .
