AAP to contest all elections in Manipur

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will held candidates in all the elections to be held in Manipur including the upcoming Imphal Municipal Corporation and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal will soon visit the North East, stated party's NE in-charge Rajesh Sharma.
After opening the office of AAP Manipur unit at Moirangkhom on Tuesday, Rajesh Sharma told media persons that he inspected a government primary school in Chandel district immediately after reaching the state and found the school in very poor condition.
The school has no proper infrastructures including benches and desks and this shows that education sector in the state is deeply mired in corruption, he said and further alleged that the BJP government in Manipur is institutionalising corruption in every sector.
He then called upon the people to bring a corruption free Manipur just like Delhi.
Rajesh Sharma also contended that the BJP government in Manipur is according more importance to corruption than in bringing development, and said that the political support seems to be lacking in solving drug menace in the state and this indeed is very unfortunate.
He said that many AAP leaders came to Manipur at the invitation of many intellectuals of the state and accordingly launched membership enrolment drive.
The party is now set to field candidates in all elections in Manipur including the upcoming IMC election and selection of candidates will be done under strict scrutiny.
Ihe responsibility of bringing a change in the state lies in the hands of the people and New Delhi cannot bring change in Manipur, he said and called upon both men and women of the state to support party's activities.
He also informed that AAP leader and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal would be visiting NE very soon to inspect the region and interact with the people.
