Cricket: AP lead Manipur by 332 runs

Andhra Pradesh tightened their grip over Manipur after ending their first innings with a total of 477/4 (122 overs) to lead the state team by 332 runs on Day 2 of their meeting in the Col Ck Nayudu Trophy in Puducherry.
Resuming their first innings on 115/1 on Wednesday, Andhra Pradesh added 362 runs courtesy of brilliant batting performances by SK Rasheed (162 not out) and S Tarun (124) .
Jotin Pheiroijam, Bikash Singh and Nitesh took one wicket each for Manipur.
Earlier on Tuesday, the state team, who opted to bat first, were dismissed for 145 in 50.4 overs in their first innings.
Karnajit Y (47) was the lone bright spot in Manipur's dismal first innings.
Tripurana and B Varshith Reddy did the major damage to Manipur's batting order as the AP bowling duo took 3 wickets each,.with K Sudharsan and Venu Vinukonda taking a wicket apiece.
