Review meeting on *100 Action Points' held

As part of the state government's action plan - '100 action points for first 100 Days', a meeting of Sub Division Development Monitoring Mission chaired by Youth Affairs & Sports principal secretary SS Chhabra, who is also in-charge of District Level Coordination Team, Thoubal was held on Wednesday at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner Thoubal.
It may be mentioned that chief minister N Biren announced that his government's '100 action points for first 100 Days' 'will provide momentum to the new government to serve the people effectively throughout the five years.
During the meeting, Chhabra emphasised the vision of the government led by the chief minister towards strengthening citizen-centric governance, promote revenue generation, fill gaps in infrastructure, accelerate economic growth and strive for inclusive development of the state.
He said the first step should be towards identifying households having no source of livelihood and who are not enrolled in the Socio Economic Caste Census.
Meanwhile, Thoubal DC A Subhash said that to realise the vision of the state government, all District Level Officers must ensure that the poorest of the poor in the district avail the benefits of various schemes.
He said the District Administration will conduct door to door survey to identity households.
Further, he also appealed to the Thoubal denizens to take part and cooperate in the door to door survey to ensure development reaches every person.
The meeting was also attended by Thoubal SP Jogeshchandra Haobijam, ADM Lokeshor Brahmacharimayum, AC to DC A Rohini Kumar, Thoubal CD Block BDO T Millikan Singh, Thoubal SDO M Ranjita Devi, Wangjing Tentha CD Block BDO Kh Renuka Devi, Lilong SDO A Shijalembi Chanu, DRDA EE Ng Somorendro Singh, district information officer Tenshubam Sangeeta and other BLOs and District Level Officers.
