Free health camp conducted at Nambol, Sora

Kakching District Up-Adhyaksha Md Nazimuddin in association with Shenmen Helping Hands Mumbai on Wednesday organised a one day free medical camp at Library & Information Center in Sora Bazar.
A team led by Naturopathy & Acupuncture specialist doctor Santosh Kumar Pandey provided acupuncture and naturopathy treatment for Asthma, Acidity, Cervical, Migraine, joint pain, etc.
Speaking on the occasion, Md Nazimuddin stated that the health camp was conducted to provide medical care to the villagers who are in need of assistance.
He also mentioned that a similar camp was held in Heingang AC on Tuesday wherein medical care was provided to about 80 persons.
It may be mentioned that a total of 250 persons benefited from the camp on Wednesday.
Moreover, BJP Nambol Mandal, Shija Vision Centre, Nambol Bazar and Shija Eye Care Foundation, Langol on Wednesday jointly organised a comprehensive "Free Eye Screening Camp" at BJP Nambol Mandal Office, Nambol.
A total of 107 patients were examined for eye related problems at the camp, said a release issued by Shija Hospitals and Research Institute (P) Ltd.
It may be noted that 11 cataracts and 10 pterygiums were diagnosed during the camp.
The patients detected with eye related problems will be treated under NPCB (NHM)/CMHT/PMJAY Scheme, it added.
