Review meeting on "100 action points for first 100 days" held

As part of State Government's action plan- "100 action points for first 100 days",a meeting of Sub Division Development Monitoring Mission chaired by Principal Secretary, Youth Affairs & Sports, OSD Forest, Environment & Climate Change, SS Chhabra, IFS i/c of District Level Coordination Team, Thoubal was held on Wednesday at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner Thoubal.
It may be mentioned that Chief Minister N Biren Singh had earlier announced his Government's action plan-"100 action points for first 100 Days" to provide momentum to the new Government to serve the people effectively throughout the five years.
During the meeting, SS Chhabra emphasised the vision of the State Government led by CM towards strengthening citizen-centric governance, promoting revenue generation, filling gaps in infrastructure, economic growth and inclusive development of the state.
He stated that the first step should be towards identifying households having no source of livelihood and who are not enrolled in the Socio Economic Caste Census.
DC Thoubal A Subhash Singh, IAS mentioned that to envisage the vision of the State Government led by the CM, all District Level Officers must ensure that the target is achieved so that the poorest of the poor in the district can avail the benefits of various schemes.
He continued that the District Administration will conduct door to door surveys to identify households.
The DC further appealed to the public to take part and cooperate in the door to door survey.
The meeting was attended by SP Thoubal, Jogeshchandra Haobijam; ADM Thoubal, Lokeshor Brahmacharimayum; AC to DC, A Rohini Kumar; and SDO Thoubal, M Ranjita Devi among others.
