Save Singda campaign continues

Imphal, June 12 2022:
Continuing the Save Singda campaign, another mass plantation drive was carried out at Bethel village in Kangpokpi district on Sunday.
The drive was led DFO Kangpokpi Forest Division.
Save Singda campaign is a mass participatory plantation drive that aimed at conservation and rejuvenation of Singda watershed catchment area and it was launched by forest minister Th Biswajit on May 16 .
Around 6000 saplings were planted during the drive participated by Beth el villagers, CSOs, local youth and representatives of Thangta-Loisang, Sana Konung.
