Skill, Labour & Entrepreneurship Minister launches food truck

Skill, Labour & Entrepreneurship Minister Heikham Dingo Singh has stated that Manipur will be set on its path towards development only when the State can boast of producing a large number of successful entrepreneurs.
The statement was made by the Minister during an event organised by MS Corporate 150 to launch a food truck.
Speaking on the occasion, H Dingo stated that not only do entrepreneurs provide employment for themselves but they also employ many other people and contribute directly in improving the economic condition of the people.
Well-educated youths of the State have started shifting their attention on their passions and businesses instead of idly waiting for a Government job, he added.
The Minister also touched upon the importance of maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle in recognition of the various untreatable diseases cropping up in the world.
As such, he stated that the health sector is growing in importance day by day.
He also stressed upon the topic of poppy cultivation highlighting its negative impacts on the environment as well as the apparent damage drugs cause to youths and society.
He urged people to support Chief Minister N Biren Singh in his initiative to root out poppy cultivation.
He also appealed to the street food vendors of the State to refrain from selling their wares simply for the sake of profit.
