Flag hoisting ceremonies held

Flag hoisting ceremony of MD Achab Uddin, Janata Dal United candidate for 40-Jiribam Assembly Constituency was held on Wednesday at his residence in Sonapur Part-2, Jiribam district.
It was attended by JDU star campaigner and national general secretary, Ashfaque Ahmad Khan; JDU Jiribam Mandal president, MK Bodain; Regional co-ordinator Manipur, Danish Ngullie; Bihar MP (Lok Sabha), Khuslen Devkumar; and Manipur State JDU general secretary, Ravikan Meitei as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, MD Ashab Uddin appreciated the people of Jiribam AC for their continuous support and love.
Expressing his confidence to win the forthcoming election with more than 3000 votes, he announced that he would focus on generating employment for the people of Jiribam among others.

Heirok AC MLA, Dr Thokchom Radheshyam has categorically stated that he would sacrifice for the people of Heirok AC till the last drop of blood and urged them to give him the strength to do so.
Dr Thokchom Radheshyam made the statement during his flag hoisting ceremony held at his residence in Heirok Part (ii), Thokchom Leikai.
Extending his gratitude to the massive gathering for their support and love, the MLA announced that he has many things left to do for the welfare of the people and would continue working to bring development and prosperity in the constituency.
Radheshyam also mentioned that he would focus on various sectors including agriculture, health-care, education, women empowerment and sports.
It may be mentioned that a public meeting was also conducted as part of the flag hoisting ceremony at Heirok Part (ii), Moirangthem Leikai ground.
Similarly, flag hoisting ceremony of Dr K Muktasana, Independent candidate in Sungnu AC was also held on Wednesday at his residence in Sugnu.
Addressing a public meeting conducted as part of the ceremony at Serou Public Ground, Dr K Muktasana stated that Sugnu AC is favourably located to conduct international trade with abundance of water and land resources.
Expressing his reservations against the emerging trend of feasting, rampant use of intoxicants during polls and buying of votes, Dr K Muktasana stated that such activities are detrimental to change and development in the state.
He further appealed to the public of Sugnu AC to give him the opportunity to represent them and bring development and progress in the constituency.
