RNAL holds meet of new committee

The first meeting of newly elected members of RIMS Nurses' Association, Lamphelpat (RNAL) Management Committee was held at RNAL hall, on Tuesday.
In a release, RNAL general secretary N Praneshori Devi conveyed that the meet was presided over by its president Tongbram Sunita Chanu and attended by Trained Nurses' Association of India (TNAI) Manipur president N Tangbi Devi, All Manipur Trade Union Council (AMTUC) president T Tikendrajit Singh, RNAL/TNAI Manipur advisor A Premkumar Singh and Bidya Bharti Manipur official Ningthoujam Bhopen-dro Singh.
The meet resolved to press RIMS authority for amending the recruitment rules for nurses, regularise service of nurses working on contract basis, fill up of vacant nursing posts and full-fledged regularisation of nurses who are on in-charge basis, it added.
RNAL mentioned that during the evening session, the newly elected members Ng Dhanamanjuri Devi, U Mema Devi, L Nirupama Devi, H Babita Devi, Ak Bimola Devi and K Romila Devi introduced themselves and had a brain storming ses sion on matters that need to be addressed by the Association.
