Liangmai scholar hogs limelight in Texas varsity

All Zeliangrong Students' Union (AMN) has congratulated Kheng dauliu Chawang, a Liangmai PhD scholar at Southern Methodist University, Texas (USA), for developing a first-of-a-kind inexpensive sensor to track pH levels of food, and for which she is being honoured with the Best Women-owned Business Pitch by Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) .
In a release, AZSU (AMN) general secretary Haiheube Jeme said that Khengdauliu Chawang's accomplishment is a testament to the commitment and perseverance she gave in her project and that it is inspiring to see her reach this milestone.
Her achievement has brought recognition, honour and inspired the Zeliangrong community to strive for excellence.
The general secretary further stated that the union look forward to seeing all the amazing things she will accomplish in the future.
Mention may be made here that Khengdauliu is the daughter of Kraibo Chawang and Martha Chawang of Nagaland.
She graduated in BTech from NIT Nagaland and completed Master of Science from Alington University Texas, USA.
