Medical camps conducted at various places

Imphal/Senapati/Noney, March 23 2023:
As a part of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activity for Financial Year 2022-23, Project Monitoring Unit (PMU) Noney of NHIDCL today organised a medical camp at Charoi Chagotlong High School, Tupul, Noney District.
The CSR programme was conducted under the aegis of DS Chaudhary, Executive Director, NHIDCL RO-Imphal.
The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Noney, Joseph Pauline; Pouranlung Malingmei, SDO/SDM Longmai, Noney; Dr Z Kamei, CMO Noney and Lt Col Sonal Chandra, GM (P), NHIDCL PMU-Noney as presidium members.

Addressing the gathering, Joseph Pauline lauded NHIDCL, for taking up such activities under CSR programme apart from making roads in the region.
A team of doctors and medical staff from Noney PHC took part in the camp and provided free medical care to the people.
Distribution of sanitary pads, free Medicine and installation of RO water filter at the school premises were the main highlights of the programme.
SENAPATI
As a part of CSR activity, PMU Senapati of NHIDCL also conducted a medical camp and handed over a Aquaguard Reviva 50 LPH Storage Water purifier at Maram High School, Tumuyong Khullen village on Thursday. At the event, Maram High School Headmaster, Ngouning Nguipa welcomed the dignitaries, staff, students and locals for participating in the CSR programme.
Shankar Bhowmik, General Manager, NHIDCL, highlighted the various activities undertaken by the NHIDCL in the State.
The Water Purifier was inaugurated by DC Kangpokpi, Kengoo Zuringla.
While conveying gratitude, T/Khullen village Secretary, R K Lovingsong urged NHIDCL to organise similar activities in the future for the welfare of the people.
ASSAM RIFLES
Khuga Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted a medical camp at Songdoi village, Churachandpur district on March 22 .
The camp was organised with the aim to improve mutual trust, maintain peace & harmony in the region and address the medical requirements of the villagers, said a release issued by PRO of IGAR(S) .
During the camp, about 28 villagers were examined and essential medicines were provided to affected persons.
The villagers were also briefed about the importance of hygiene and sanitation in daily routine to avoid unwarranted diseases.
