Village heads' conclave held at Senapati

Imphal, December 17 2022:
Red Shield Division of Indian Army organised a conclave of 18 village heads, belonging to Poumai, Maram and Mao tribes, and Kuki of Taphou Naga Area of Senapati district on Sunday at Senapati.
A release by Defence PRO Lt Col Manish Shrivastava informed that the conclave was aimed at celebrating festivities together and to cement bonhomie and strengthen bond amongst the communities and the Indian Army.
During the interaction, the village heads appreciated the many initiatives of Indian Army like sports activities, humanitarian assistance, training to youth and others.
Youths' participation in the recently con eluded recruitment rally at Koirengei was also specifically appreciated, wherein many from Senapati district cleared the test.
Indian Army had provided training to some of these youths and had launched another coaching class for written test.
It also assured its assistance to the youth in terms of physical training, written tests and skill development to support them, fulfill their dreams.
