ITI lab, exam centre inaugurated

While maintaining that youth play an important role in the overall development of the state, social welfare minister H Dingo has called for leading the youth of the state on the right path by familarising them with the latest technological know-how.
Minister Dingo was speaking as chief guest of the inaugural function of an electrical laboratory and an online examination centre at ITI, Takyel on Tuesday.
The minister further stated that a society with youthful population is a resourceful society and we need to nurture and develop the youth to make them assets of the society.
Therefore, to develop and make the state powerful, we need to develop the youth and for this, there is the need to improve the ITI of the state, he said.
The function was also attended by secretary and director of skill, labour, employment and entrepreneurship.
It may be mentioned that there are altogether 11 ITI cen tres in which a total of 2485 students are being trained on a yearly basis.
