Two students of Don Bosco College, Maram took part in the 12th Annual National Conclave of BHARATIYA CHHATRA SANSAD (Indian Students' Parliament) from September 15 to 17 .
The parliament was organized by Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad, an organization founded by Rahul V Karad at MIT World Peace University, Pune.
The conclave was organized with a specific view to highlight the relevance of the youth in policy making and subsequently elevate the quality of governance.
The event well represented by youths from across the country, encouraged independent thinking and socio-political initiatives in young students and facilitated learning of crucial social and political skills.
During the three-day programme, the youth were exhorted and encouraged to take lead roles in any democratic processes.
The young participants were given a platform to have dialogue and deliberations with a number of stalwarts from different segments of the society and walks of life, on many relevant issues.
Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad 2022 forged the youth to connect with their contemporaries from distant lands of India.
Laishram Fiastom Singh and Takam Regam were the two young and energetic participants of Don Bosco College, Maram.
They excelled in various events organized during the conclave and brought laurels to the State and the said institution.
Takam Regam gave an excellent speech on Dynastic Succession in Democracy.
The speech captivated the attention and appreciation of the audience.
His speech kept everyone spellbound and was aptly applauded.
The duo were duly awarded with certificates and trophy of excellence.
