State logs two new cases, tally drops to 16

Imphal, September 26 2022:
As government bulletins reported two new positive cases of Covid-19 from Chandel district out of 157 samples tested across the state in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 1.3 per cent.
With eight recoveries in the same period, the active tally has come down further to 16.Out of the 16 active cases, 13 are in home isolation.
There are 38 vacant beds available in JNIMS and 62 in RIMS.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2148 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,807 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 126 D-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities and 482 vaccine doses administered that increased the cumulative number of vaccinated population to 16,42,282, out of which 13,23,248 had received the second dose and 2,63,811 precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based bn IDSP arid CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49817), Imphal East (32034), Thoubal (10293), Churachandpur (11285), Kangpokpi (3184), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9978), Senapati (2547), Ukhrul (3366), Kakching (6976), Chandel (2796), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1211), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1053), and Pherzawl (477) .
Fatality counts in different districts are Imphal West (712), Imphal East (517), Thoubal (192), Churachandpur (169), Kangpokpi (70), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (206), Senapati (13), Ukhrul (52), Kakching (124), Chandel 43), Noney (5), Tengnoupal 16), Jiribam (7), Kamjong 5), and Pherzawl (0) .
