Bhupendra to chalk out BJP's poll strategy

Imphal, September 14 2021:
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would be sending its national general secretary Bhupendra Yadav, whom the party has appointed as election in-charge of Manipur, to chalk out strategies for the 2022 state assembly election.
Yadav along with two assistants namely Pratima Bhowmik and Ashok Shihgal would be arriving in Imphal on September 18 to collect reports from different units of the party for the forthcoming election.
During his stay, Yadav will hold meetings with party leaders from different units to get a better understanding of the political scenario in the state and is likely to constitute several election related committees.
He will also meet chief minister, BKP ministers and MLAs as well as BJP state president in order to chalk out the best poll strategy for the party.
Moreover, he will meet prospective candidates, who are intending to fight the election on party ticket.
Meanwhile, BJP Manipur Pradesh has made necessary preparations and plans for the visit of Bhupendra Yadav and his two assistants.
The party is making extensive preparations to prevent backlash from prospective candidates, who could not get party ticket.
Ahead of their visit, BJP Manipur in-charge Sambit Patra and northeast secretary (organisation) Ajay Jamwal would also be arriving here on September 17 and hold meetings with the party's office bearers.
