AMPSUM, SSUM urge Education Minister

Imphal, September 14 2021:
Representatives of All Meetei Pangal Students' Union Manipur (AMPSUM) and Socialist Students' Union of Manipur (SSUM) met Education Minister S Rajen today at his office chamber and urged him to ramp up infrastructure development at State run educational institutes.
Speaking to the press after meeting with the Minister, S Yaima, president, SSUM said they have started inspecting the state of Government educational institutes and found that the infrastructures including laboratories, toilet facilities, library etc were found to be not satisfactory and in a pitiful condition.

He added that as the academic sessions for higher secondary schools and colleges are about to start, there is an immediate need to mend up the requirements of the institutes.
He added that the Educational Minister has also assured that necessary infrastructural and manpower requirements of such institutes will be provided very soon.
